Awards Season!

This March, SKATE for Girls was honored to receive the 2026 Strive Together Award from the Women’s Resources Center! The award recognizes the Registered Student Organization (RSO) that has made significant contributions towards gender equity during the current academic year.

We were so grateful to join in the ceremony and learn about the other students, staff, and faculty at UIUC doing meaningful and inspiring gender equity work on campus. 

We were also proud to earn the Outstanding Program/Project Social Justice Award by the office of Diversity & Social Justice Education at the annual Social Justice Award ceremony.
